Tarcia D. Troup is a native of Greer, South Carolina but has been a resident in the surrounding Atlanta area since 1998. She received her Bachelor of Science from South Carolina State University, Master of Education from Georgia State University, as well as an Educational Leadership certification from Troy State University. Prior to becoming a State Farm Agent, Tarcia worked for the Atlanta Public School System as an Instructional
Coach. She also taught high school and served as the Mathematics Coordinator for Clayton County Public Schools. Now, she is excited to bring her passion for education to help the community with insurance and financial services.
Tarcia, who has 18 years of experience in education, is a valuable resource to the community by continuously educating families about the benefits of all State Farm products and financial services. Her vision is to educate the community so that everyone will be prepared to strategically make informed decisions to manage the risks of everyday life.”

Tarcia and her family, husband Coach Martisse Troup and two girls Malia and Milan, are continuously involved in various church, school, and community projects. She is a member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. and her husband is a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. The Troup Family looks forward to serving the surrounding Atlanta area and like a “Good Neighbor” they will be there to take care of your insurance and financial service needs.
